Makers Unite is a social inclusion program that creates sustainable products together with newcomers, refugees and local creatives in The Netherlands. They believe in the power of making and it's their goal to bring a powerful message of connecting across cultures. With the sales of their products, such as travel items made from life vests that have been worn by migrants on their way to Europe, they provide working opportunities to their participants and fund their social inclusion program.
W.Green worked alongside Makers Unite on their photography and was responsible for the PR of their Robot Bag - a bag made of life vests that was created in collaboration with fashion designer Bas Kosters.
"I'm a strong supporter of the mission of Makers Unite and I'm proud to have been a part of this great initiative. The enthusiasm of founder Thami is contagious and so it was a pleasure working together, helping them spread their message."
