After over 10 years on the market, Marie Stella Maris wasn’t known for their sustainability efforts. Marie-Stella-Maris strives for clean (drinking) water and hygiene for everyone, worldwide. Since its foundation in 2011, the brand has structurally donated part of its turnover to sustainable clean water projects. In addition to the drive to continue to increase its social impact, Marie-Stella-Maris is committed to reducing its environmental impact. Despite doing a lot, especially in the field of water, they gained the most attention and fan base around their aesthetics and iconic scents and weren’t perceived as a ‘good’ brand.
By re-launching their care line through a meaningful and in-depth press event we were able to place them in a new light with the most influential press in The Netherlands. Everything from concept, to programming, catering and gifting was done in a cohesive way to bring across their message and new, clean(er) approach.
A well-attended event where we received very positive feedback from all attendees. Press was sceptical beforehand but very positively surprised by the knowledge and information shared. Also due to the talks by independent speakers Safi Grauuw - earth scientist and Robin van Wechem - research journalist. It has increased the brand’s credibility and engagement since then.
Together with a beautiful team, we worked on the launch of Marie-Stella-Maris’ new beauty campaign; Clean Water. Clean Beauty. To create extra depth around this topic we asked journalist Robin van Wechem and Earth scientist Safi Graauw to share their knowledge on the essence of water and beauty products ingredients. For the location we found the perfect setting at Enter The Loft, a cozy ‘living room’ perfect for this get together, exploring the new products, with press and influentials. Even though we had a short time window to organize this event, we came together as a team and pulled off a beautiful event. I am super proud of the team and happy to work again with Bernice and her lovely team.
